Barons enter the all-star break with a 5-3 victory over the Pawsox.
Gary Bennett drove in a pair of runs and Amaury Telemaco worked seven-plus solid innings as the Red Barons topped the Pawtucket Red Sox, 5-3. Bennett highlighted a three-run sixth with his only hit of the game, a single into center field. Telemaco (5-2) allowed three runs and four hits, striking out eight, in 7 1/3 innings to pick up the win. Jimmy Rollins led off the inning with his fifth home run of the season and Reggie Taylor and Ken Woods each scored a pair of runs. Kirk Bullinger tossed the final 1 2/3 scoreless innings for his fifth save.
