SYRACUSE SNAPS STREAK

Barons offense struggles as Skychiefs take a 4-2 victory.

It looked promising at first for the Barons as Reggie Taylor led off the game with a homer to left on the first pitch. The Barons held on to that lead until the 5th inning, when Amaury Telemaco gave up 4 runs... although it wasnt entirely his fault. Gary Bennett made it 4-2 with a solo blast to lead off the 5th. The Barons couldnt seem to get the clutch hit when it mattered most, however. Marlon Anderson doubled in the 7th, but was tagged out on a bizarre play trying to run to third with nobody covering the base. The catcher did indeed get there in time and applied the tag. That would've been key for us, but still... we need to win tomorrow behind Paul Byrd. And Buffalo lost, so we're still in first.
Where have you gone Chris Pritchett? Pritchett: "I'm back!!!"
