Sounds simple, doesn't it? Now if only we'd do that more consistently.
Chris Pritchett singled, doubled and drove in two runs and Mark Brownson pitched a complete game to lead the Barons to a 6-3 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens. Pritchett, who doubled in the second inning, hit a two-run single in the top of the fifth to give us a 3-2 lead. Brownson (5-5) scattered nine hits and struck out 10 without walking a batter to get the win. Jimmy Rollins stroked an RBI single and Gary Bennett drew a bases-loaded walk four batters later to put the Red Barons ahead, 5-2, in the sixth inning. Marlon Anderson had two hits and an RBI and Jalal Leach doubled and scored. It's about time that Pritchett broke out of his slump, and hopefully it's a sign of things to come from him.
