THE RED BARONS..... GET READY FOR SOME BASEBALL!!!
Welcome to the Sean Fesh Fan Club Home Page.
Sean is a former left handed relief pitcher for the Scranton/ Wilkes Barre Red Barons, the Triple A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Sean played last year with the Portland Seadogs of the Eastern League. He is still under minor league contract with the Marlins organization. He will either be appearing in 2003 with the Carolina Mudcats or the Albequerque Isotopes. He throws sidearm like John Tudor, I bet you wish you could do that!
While he was with the Barons, THE FESH was proud to wear number 66, he says because he forgot to tell them that he wanted 99 and he had no squabble with 66. He better be wearing 66 in Albuquerque camp or there will be riots in the streets of Nanticoke!
To join the club sign the guestbook and keep an eye on Sean's exploits with the Bluefish. Good luck and happy Feshing!!
Here is the article that made us "Dig the Fesh."
Listen to the Red Barons on the web!
Sean Fesh Re-Signs With Marlins!
Sean has signed a minor league deal with the Pirates. More details will be coming. Sean spent last season in the Eastern League, going 1-1 with a 4.22 ERA in 24 games with Portland.
Hopefully we can see him play this summer and recreate the raucousness at a Stadium near you!!!
In my last update, I added new pictures from my trip to Buffalo for the playoffs in 2000, pics from a doubleheader against my new home, Rochester, and the Wild-Card clinching on-field clebration from that same year. I hope you enjoy and I hope to follow the Red Barons a little closer this year from whatever Northeast city I end up in.
In one unrelated note, check out Dave's webpage by clicking here. He has been conducting interviews with the player of the game after every game at Lackawanna County Stadium. You can listen to them in RealAudio format on the page, so stop by!!!!

We now have a continuous Chat Room dedicated to our website!!
Click on this link to enter the chat room! You must register a handle once you get there, but its free and convenient!! Hopefully we can actually have a couple meetings in here this upcoming year, to rehash old memories. Like that magical game against Richmond in May of 1999...
IL FANTASY BASEBALL!!
My big SWB-related project for the summer of 2001 was the formation of the IL Fantasy Baseball League. We had 10 owners who selected their teams and congrats to Dave Lefchak's Louisville Lock Monsters who defeated my Rochester Wastemen 3 games to 1 in the finals!! The league itself has a page! There you can see rosters, Standings, The
Rulebook, and Contact Info for each of the owners in the league!
NEXT GAME: Ottawa Lynx - Baltimore Orioles AAA Affiliate (That's something new!!) April 3th, 2003 at LACKAWANNA COUNTY STADIUM (The cathedral of the International League)
Be sure to join us postgame at CHICKS DINER, THE OFFICIAL EATERY OF THE SEAN FESH FAN CLUB!
Fesh better pray to god we don't get out to Albuquerque. He never knew of our ardent devotion to the Edmonton Trappers.

FESHPOLLS!!!
Although these have nothing to do with Fesh, I am nevertheless
intrigued by their findings!! This is where I ask you, the viewer,
to voice your opinion on an issue regarding Red Barons baseball.
In order to attempt to clean up the clutter on this main page,
I have archived the results of all the Past
Feshpolls.

Scranton Times newspaper, Red
Barons columnist Randy Yanoshak published his long-awaited article on the
Sean Fesh Fan Club. It explains the origin of the fan club and also shows
how much the fan club means to the Red Barons' drive to the playoffs and
the IL North championship. Click on this link to read about "The Life of the Party"
